It’s time now to revisit the Great Smoky Mountains in the fall. Dollywood has made a huge addition to their annual fall festival with their “Great Pumpkin LumiNights.” There are hundreds of artistic pumpkin sculptures, in whimsical and delightful scenes throughout the park. Day 1 – Pigeon Forge – Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner Show
Arrive in Pigeon Forge, TN and check into your hotel for a two night stay.
Tonight, you celebrate the Pirate Spirit with fun and adventure at Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner Show. Before the show starts enjoy a fun, interactive experience in Pirates Village! Thar be a real pirate sing-a-long of all yer favorite seaside songs, amazing balancing acts, fantastic juggling, live animals, audience participation and much more. Ye won’t want to miss a moment; it’s all part of the fun of being a pirate!
At the Pirates Voyage Dinner Show, you join Captain Blackbeard, the most famous pirate to ever sail the seven seas, and his quartermaster Calico Jack as they lead the Crimson and Sapphire crews in an epic battle for lost treasure on land, on deck, in water and high above full-sized pirate ships in a 15 foot deep indoor hideaway lagoon! Ye will thrill at the swashbuckling excitement of spectacular acrobatic competitions, aerial feats, sea lions, tropical birds, beautiful mermaids and much more! Which camp takes the treasure may be up to you as ye cheer me buccaneers to victory, all while ye enjoy a fabulous four-course feast! (B,D)
Day 2 – Smoky Mountains – Moonshine – Hatfield’s & McCoy’s Dinner Feud
After breakfast this morning, a local guide escorts you deep into Smoky Mountain National Park on a narrated sightseeing tour. Ridge upon ridge of forest straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. World renowned for its diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture, this is America’s most visited national park.
At the end of your tour, you visit Gatlinburg for the afternoon. Here you can tour Ole Smoky Moonshine, visit Ripley’s Aquarium, Christ in the Smokies or the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram. There are also numerous restaurants and gift shops to fill your afternoon.
Then tonight you have seats right in the middle of the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s Dinner Show – an evening of Feudin’ Feastin’ and Family Fun as these two families settle their differences mountain-style. Whether you’re city-folk or country cuzins, you’ll love the singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy. (B,D)
Day 3 – Depart – After Breakfast, depart for home.
ADD a DAY OPTION: Should you want to add a day to your trip, we suggest a shopping or free time in Pigeon Forge, but we are happy to talk with you about including many other attractions, perhaps Dollywood or a matinee show. Our Add-on day automatically includes another great Pigeon Forge Dinner Show, a 3rd night lodging and one more breakfast.
Day 1 – Arrive Pigeon Forge
At the end of your days travel you arrive in Pigeon Forge, TN. and check in to a nice hotel for a two night stay. This evening we offer a choice of Dinner shows for your enjoyment. You may schedule either Dolly’s New Pirates Voyage Dinner show venture. Where thar be a real pirate sing-a-long of all yer favorite seaside songs, amazing balancing acts, fantastic juggling, live animals, audience participation and much more. Ye won’t want to miss a moment; it’s all part of the fun of being a pirate!

Day 2 –Fall Foliage Sightseeing – Great Pumpkin IllumiNights
You can schedule this day in a variety of different ways, perhaps you want to spend the morning in Gatlinburg, or take a narrated Fall Foliage Tour high into the Great Smokies, or simply start the day in Dollywood and spend it all right here. We are happy to assist with options.
However you schedule the morning Dollywood’s Harvest Festival should be the feature of your afternoon and evening. Inside the park you will find free Southern Gospel Concerts, visiting artisans from across the U S showcasing their talents with handmade arts and crafts. Plus, to make the day even more spectacular you will see the Great Pumpkin LumiNights. Thousands of carved and illuminated jack-o-lanterns. The largest addition ever made to Dollywood’s fall festival it features artistic pumpkin sculptures, whimsical scenes and delightful, family-friendly fun. There are also new pumpkin-themed food options, entertainment and interactive opportunities for visitors as well as a exciting nightly finale. (B)
Day 3 –Depart the Smokies or Buy into more fun
This morning your group will either depart for home. or you need to plan more fun and buy into a bigger better trip. There are over a dozen music shows in Pigeon Forge, Great Restaurants, and unique attractions. You could also add a couple of nights in Nashville (perhaps including the Opry Birthday Party), or cross the mountains to the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina.
